Mathare Slum Project, Nairobi.

A staggering 1 billion people worldwide live in an informal settlement. Growing up and living in such a harsh environment makes for an incredibly challenging existence, but what about the hope found in these marginalised communities?

At “We the Change” Foundation we focus on hope, creating opportunities and early childhood development in particular. We believe that every child, no matter where they are born, deserves a great education.

Early childhood education and care is vital to the process of a child’s brain development. This is even more so for children living in poverty. We believe that by investing in a child’s cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development before they reach school age, they will be given a stronger chance to escape poverty and to secure a more positive future for themselves.

Be inspired. Be the change.

Make a real impact by sponsoring a child and providing them with stability, safety and a quality education.
